Drone footage shows two fully loaded Russian infantry fighting vehicles speeding toward Ukrainian lines in hopes of making a tactical breakthrough. However, the area is heavily mined, and within seconds both vehicles detonate powerful anti tank mines, resulting in their destruction.
The Russian troops that survived the initial mine blast and are able to walk, dismount and scramble into the nearby wood line. It's possible that the mines belonged to the Russians, as they buried thousands last spring in preparation for a Ukrainian summer offensive. The soldiers that knew where those mines were are now likely dead, wounded, or deployed elsewhere, leaving there locations a threatening mystery for either side.
