The Ukrainian military released a third video of a Bayraktar TB2 drone strike against Russian military vehicle formations. The exact location of the strike is unclear, but the densely congested convoy formation resembles satellite photos of Russian convoys moving from Belarus toward Kyiv.
Shortly before the video ends, the drones camera pans to the rear of the convoy where smoldering wreckage and craters can be seen, indicating a pervious or coordinated strike.
In 2019, Turkish defense corporation Baykar won a $69 million contract to sell six TB2 combat UAVs to Ukraine. The deliveries of the drones began in the summer of 2021. However, flight tracker apps have shown Turkish flights going into Ukraine since the invasion, and it's unclear if Ukraine has obtained more drones.
