This footage, which was released by Anti-Junta forces conducting guerilla operations near Myaing, in the Magway Region of Myanmar, shows a high altitude drone dropped munition strike against what is allegedly a military position in the center of a village.
I personally question the accuracy and efficacy of an attack via drone at this altitude, but I have zero experience in dropping anything from the under-belly of a drone. I have no idea if it is possible to be accurate with a system like this. In my opinion, these strikes should be done from a lower altitude to prevent the impact wind can have on the munitions which could cause unneeded casualties, but I'm also not the guy on the ground so I won't question their judgement.
By now, there is more than likely a few of our members who have used drones in this capacity down in the comments section. Would love to hear from some subject matter experts on the topic.
