Armenian Civilians in Stepanakert Move to Cover

Civilian footage published to Twitter gives us some of the only Armenian perspective to come out of the day so far. It shows Armenian civilians in a slight panic as they move to cover. In the background Azeri weapon systems can be heard detonating, and on Twitter, fears of an ethnic cleansing mount and Armenian civilians call for a military coup against the current Prime Minister who has yet to react.

Again, for those who are out of the loop, Stepankert is also known as Khankendi, where earlier today we posted footage of drone and artillery strikes against Armenian positions.

The last statement from the Armenian Ministry of Defense was around seven hours ago. The statement reads as follows:

As previously, now again the Azerbaijani official reports and mass media continue to disseminate false statements as if there are Armed Forces units of the Republic of Armenia, military equipment, and personnel in Nagorno-Karabakh. The Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia has repeatedly stated that the Republic of Armenia does not have an army in Nagorno-Karabakh.
