An armed robbery that occurred in Konya, Turkey, was thwarted after the store owner and his wife armed themselves and took down both thieves.
During the footage captured by the Jewelry stores surveillance camera, we see the first thief acting aggressive, armed with a shotgun. As the aggressor, the thief continues to point the shotgun directly in the store owners face, presumably requesting money or expensive jewelry.
A few seconds later, the store owner leaves the view of the camera, still under pressure from the thief's shotgun. Out from the doorway on the right, a woman steps into frame, armed with a shotgun and begins pointing it directly at the suspect. During that time, the male store owner reaches behind the counter, arms himself, and shoots the crook in his leg, dropping him to the ground.
Reports have indicated, the armed woman was the store owners wife. These reports have also indicated, while her husband detained the first suspect, the wife headed outside and held down the suspects accomplice until police arrived on the scene. These two crooks got hit with the ol' "bait and switch" maneuver.
