British Supplied Missile Downs Russian Drone

FLIR footage released by Ukrainian sources claims to show the use of a British supplied ASRAAM against a Russian drone. It is believed that the ASRAAM was launched from the back of a Ukrainian "Franken-SAM," which is a heavily modified ground based system designed to fire AIM-132 missiles air-to-air missiles.

Traditionally, the AIM-132 is an air-to-air missile system. Today, it's finding use in Ukraine as a ground-to-air defense system specifically designed to take out aerial Russian threats.
