Combined Video Angles Of Apache Strikes On ISIS In Mosul

Footage from the US-led war against ISIS, recorded in 2016 over Mosul, reportedly shows AH-64 Apache strikes in support of ground troops during a battle for the eastern bank of the Tigris River.

While many combat and gun cam footage videos of Apache strikes exist, these clips are unique as they combine four angles of each strike, three of which are from external cameras mounted on the gunship.

The Battle of Mosul began in late 2016, lead by the US, and fought by Iraqi Government forces, Iranian-backed Shia militias, and the Kurdistan Regional Government. The Islamic State had seized the city in mid 2014, and mate it their Iraqi headquarters. They had over two years worth of time building defenses, digging tunnels, hiding booby traps, and producing a plethora of heavily armored SVBIEDs.
