This bodycam footage depicts Sherriff's Deputies interdicting a stolen vehicle. When the suspects flee into a nearby wood line, a resourceful sergeant impersonates a K9 by barking. The juvenile suspects are tricked into surrendering without chase or injury.
We see a deputy deploying stop-sticks at 0:30 , with voice-over provided by his supervisor. The stolen car drives right over them at 01:05. At 01:26, we see the deputy clear the unoccupied vehicle.
At 02:26, the ruse begins. The deputy, an obviously experienced Sergeant barks and bays like a K9, at which point there's audible movement in the trees. At 03: 06, a suspect is shown emerging from the woods, although he is occluded due to his age. After the arrest, he and the other suspects admitted that they agreed to give up when they "heard that dog."
