Interesting footage shows two French Mirage 2000-5s intercepting Russian war planes over the Baltic Sea. The NATO aircraft initially intercepted two Russian Su-30 Flanker fighter jets, and later intercepted a Russian An-72 cargo plane near Poland.
The intercepts occurred in international airspace and no unsafe maneuvers or confrontations were reported. Incidents like these are not uncommon, however, the footage showing rival nation aircraft flying parallel in the same frame is always a sight to behold for aviation nerds.
