French SAS (Yes, You Read That Right) In Action

France's 1st Marine Infantry Parachute Regiment, sometimes referred to as the French SAS, is a unit within the French Army Special Forces Command that traces their lineage to the Free French Special Air Service (SAS) Regiments that fought alongside the SAS Brigade during World War II.
The elite commandos even use the motto Qui ose gagne (Who Dares Wins). The less-than-thousand troop unit is highly specialized in Direct action raids, reconnaissance, Counter-terrorism, asymmetric warfare, hostage rescue, and even humanitarian missions. They have seen recent action across the Middle East and Africa.
