GoPro video of Ukrainian troops slugging it out in the Kreminna Forest. This FPV footage shows a Ukrainian unit defending fighting positions in the charred carcass that was a heavily wooded national park. The trees, scorched and stripped of branches and foliage, offer scant concealment or protection. The unit in question seems to be fending off an attack or possibly an enemy reconnaissance element. One soldier tosses a bandolier to the camera operator, who then launches a grenade at an unseen opponent. Shortly thereafter the unit receives incoming indirect fire, most likely a mortar round. After another round of small arms and grenades, the camera operator leaves his hole and patrols forward of the defensive position, engaging and wounding a lone Russian soldier. As the unit continues to take fire, the wounded enemy is carried and then dragged to a safe area, where he will live to see another day. Ukrainian soldiers placing themselves at risk to recover a wounded enemy contrasts with recent treatment Russian troops have afforded captured Ukrainian soldiers.
