Historic footage captured in Norway during World War 2 shows British de Havilland Mosquitos disrupting enemy naval supply lines in 1944. The footage is absolutely breath-taking.
According to our analytics, historic content is some of our worst performing content. Regardless, when I see content like this I have to publish it, because it's simply breath-taking. What you're looking at is an aerial raid that was conducted in 1944 against Axis supply lines in Norway. The fighters that you're seeing are multi-role de Havilland Mosquitos, specifically designed to be one of the fastest fighter planes in the world. They were made almost entirely of wood.
