IDF 551st Hammer Hamas With Tanks in Gaza

A compilation of troops of the Israeli Defense Force 551st Brigade in Gaza. Both infantry and tanks are represented as they make their way through the rubble of Gaza.

Buildings have been aggressively cleared of opposition, often the only recourse in an environment with a determined and sometimes suicidal enemy. Many of these structures will require demolition and reconstruction to be made habitable. For much of the video we do not see Israeli infantry and armor in the same frame, and it is tempting to raise the critique of poor infantry-armor coordination, but at the 1:09 mark dismounts can bee seen moving from building to building ahead of the advancing tanks. Given their relatively low casualties, it is safe to say that the methods employed by the IDF are proving effective.
