Helmet cam footage from an Israeli special forces squad shows a rescue operation to evacuate wounded troops from a disabled Namer APC in the vicinity of Nir Am, near the northern border the Gaza Strip.
While the rescue attempt is underway, the Israeli troops come under direct small arms fire from nearby Hamas militants. As they attempt to open the rear hatch, panic can be heard, as the wounded occupants aren't sure who is trying to gain entrance. The risk of friendly fire in this situation was high but avoided.
