This quick clip, recorded by a bystander in Gaza, shows an airstrike which destroys a building on a main thoroughfare. The basis for the strike was not specifically disclosed, but civilians in the area were duly warned.
As is rife with almost every aspect of the Israel-Hamas war, there is a lot of finger-pointing and shifting of blame and responsibility regarding airstrikes like these. When published, anti-IDF sentiment tends to claim that these airstrikes are performed without due care and warning provided to the civilian population. However, this begs the question: If there was no warning given, how did the person filming this know when and where to orient their phone?
