Karenni National Defense Force Operations in Myanmar, May 2024

This footage, provided by the anti-Junta KNDF, shows B-04 (presumably, 4th Battalion) conducting offensive operations against Junta-held positions in Hpasawng in late May of this year. It also shows slice-of-life moments for anti-junta fighters, such as mealtimes and smoke breaks.
As previously discussed, the Karenni National Defense Force (KNDF) is a primarily ethnic-based militia which prosecutes conflict against the Junta governance system in place in Myanmar, both to protest its existence and to secure rights and sovereignty for the Karenni people.
Here, we see a compilation of combat actions undertaken by the KDF in late may, which include the use of heavy machine guns and mortars as well as the usual combination of small arms and grenade launchers. What appears to be a Junta air asset can be seen overhead.Toward the end of the video, KNDF gunners can be seen shooting at an aircraft.
At 02:26, we see a meal break for the KNDF. An army needs food to operate, and these fighters are no different. The break does afford an opportunity to see the wide variety of kit being worn by the fighters, from bush hats to helmets and shemaghs.
