(Longer Version) MaxxPro MRAP Runs Gauntlet For CASEVAC

This footage explores a recent, harrowing mission for an MRAP driver in Chasiv Yar, who was sent to drop off supplies and evacuate a wounded Ukrainian soldier. To say the vehicle takes a beating from incoming Russian fire is an understatement.

(Note: this is an extended version of this footage, which provides some additional angles and insight.) As the video shows, from an observing drone’s perspective, the MaxxPro MRAP endures hit after hit, but keeps pressing toward the objective. Right at the 1:00 mark, we switch to a bodycam/helmet cam view of the supplies being offloaded and the wounded Ukrainian being man-handled up the ladder. The sheer hell that the MRAP had to endure to get here, coupled with the urgency with which they are dragging him up the ladder, illustrates the dire nature of the rescue. The driver was apparently willing to accept neither Russian fire nor gentleness if either came between him and this CASEVAC. Should the wounded man live, he will always have this record of the effort and risk that went into saving him. Greater love hath no man
