A lucky Russian tank crew inspects the damage done to their T-72 by a Ukrainian anti tank guided missile (ATGM) that didn't manage to penetrate the armored hull.
It appears that the guided missile first hit a piece of steel trim just above the track, which likely enacted the warhead's shaped charge cutting properties and exhausted them before it hit the main hull of the vehicle. The initial strike acted in much the same way RPG slat armor works by depleting the penetrating ability of the munition prematurely.
