Footage shows a Ukrainian M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle getting immobilized after driving over and detonating a Russian anti tank mine during the ongoing counteroffensive on the Zaporizhzhia front.
The footage is recorded by a camera mounted on a different M2 Bradley, which is using its 25mm M242 chain gun to suppress a hostile wood line. The fated Bradley drives into the frame, hits the mine, and comes to a stop, likely throwing its track.
Smoke counter measures are deployed to screen the crew as they dismount and hop onto another vehicle. This incident appears to be located at a single point where several Bradleys and other vehicles were lost to land mines on or around Jun 8, 2023.
