Marines And Taliban Intermingle At Kabul Airport Checkpoint

Footage from the continued global-level embarrassment that is the US evacuation from Afghanistan shows US Marines working an airport entrance checkpoint alongside armed Taliban militants.
It's fairly uncommon to see two entities that have been killing each other for the past 20 years standing right next to each other, with weapons, just going about their daily business. What has become very common to see, however, is US service members put in some of the stupidest situations imaginable by completely inept leadership.
