Maritime Security Films Drone Boat Instead Of...Y'know, Shooting It

This footage shows the Panama-flagged Cordelia Moon, an oil tanker in the Red Sea, being attacked by an explosive-laden maritime drone. The Houthi rebels in Yemen claimed the attack, which occurred on 1 October, 2024, along with a missile strike on a different vessel. Incredibly, the ship's security element is shown filming the incoming dhow on their phones instead of doing that thing ship's security should do- that is, shooting the frickin' drone- and as a result of poor decision making and worse marksmanship, the drone successfully strikes the Cordelia Moon. While there is some possibility they were filming the boat as proof that it was a WBIED (water-borne IED), filming it in portrait mode is inexcusable.
