Mi-24 Hind Splashes Shahed

This quick clip shows a Russian Shahed-136 drone being engaged and destroyed by a Ukrainian Mi-24 "Hind" attack helicopter, using its 12.7-millimeter YakB machine gun. The rotary quad-barrel machine gun is housed in the nose turret of the Hind. Helicopters are quickly proving to be a means of drone interception which balances cost with efficacy, as compared to more expensive systems or less reliable means.
