Minigun Dustoff Crew Rocks Taliban Positions During MedEvac

Dustoff footage out of Afghanistan shows Blackhawk helicopter door gunners suppressing enemy positions with miniguns during a MedEvac operation.
Often times, the crews of ambulance helicopters are forced to land in areas still hot with enemy activity and become prime targets for every insurgent within small arms range. The miniguns allow the the crew to apply overwhelming firepower onto known and suspected enemy locations, keeping their heads down until the casualties can be extracted.
