Mortar Crew Picks A Fight With 70+ Taliban

In the infamous Korengal Valley of Kunar province, Afghanistan, a US Army mortar crew initiates contact with a force of 70+ Taliban fighters.

The mortarman fires 60mm projectiles free-handed, using the distance sight bubble on the system. This can only be done with one or no charges on the round, meaning the enemy is extremely close. After the first impact, Taliban fighters begin firing wildly at the position allowing the US forces to pinpoint their exact location.
