Multiple Bomb Drones Attack Moscow

The Kremlin announced that at least eight loiter munition drones targeted Moscow and surrounding areas on May 30, 2023, and further claimed they had all been shot down by air defense missiles or electronic warfare jamming devices.

Ukraine neither confirmed or denied being responsible for the attack. Aftermath wreckage of one of the drones showed the primary explosive to be a KZ-6 demolition charge, which is what the Russian Lancet carries, but it's not clear if these charges are also available to Ukraine.

The drones are said to be similar in construction to those used in an attempted attack on a Russian oil refinery in the Krasnodar region near the Black Sea on May 28. Those were reportedly shot down prior to reaching their targets as well.
