Update: The crew inside the tank was in fact injured, and video has surfaced of a crew member being killed by a drone dropped grenade a short while later. Video link - https://funker530.com/video/nsfw-drone-dropped-grenade-kills-circling-tank-crew
A mysterious piece of footage coming out of Ukraine shows what is allegedly a Russian tank stuck in a loop of making constant circles, and no one really knows what's going on.
This footage was released to Twitter today, and it has a lot of people asking questions that don't have answers. For some reason the tank was spotted endlessly doing donuts, and the internet has yet to figure it out, but it's kind of driving them insane.
According to some Ukrainian sources, the tank crew was killed in an ATGM attack, but the tank itself was not destroyed or severely damaged. In that theory, the tank is endlessly doing donuts in the field because the crew is dead at the wheel of the still functioning tank. In another theory that has some photographic evidence, the crew abandoned the tank because of a catastrophic failure which caused the vehicle to be stuck doing a donut pattern. The photographic evidence appears to show Russian troops coming back to retrieve the vehicle after it ran out of fuel.
At the end of the day, we aren't Scooby Doo's gang. I can't really say I know what's going on in this video as both stories that the internet has made up seem to make an equal amount of sense. If the crew were killed in an ATGM attack however, I suspect we'd see some damage on the vehicle somewhere.
