Surveillance drone video released by Nigerian forces shows footage of Nigerian ground forces engaged in a gunfight with Boko Haram fighters. Scenes include several aircraft swooping in to provide close air support for Nigerian forces and the elimination of several Boko Haram units.

For the uninitiated, and for those of you who have only joined us recently for the war in Ukraine, Jamā'at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da'wah wa'l-Jihād is a large militant Islamic faction in Africa that are based in Northeastern Nigeria. The group is best known as Boko Haram, and until 2016 they were known as the world's most deadly terror organization according to the Global Terrorism Index.
