This footage depicts anti-Junta fighters, known as the People’s Defense Force, raiding a police station in Myanmar. While the weapons used in this conflict have varied widely, as have means of supply, this action purportedly featured Turkish blank-firing replica pistols which were modified to fire live rounds, as well as AR-15/M4 style rifles and 12-gauge shotguns, as well as an M-79 pattern single-shot grenade launcher.
This footage also differs from typical anti-Junta engagements, in that after another fighter kicks a door open at 0:43, the cameraman is clearly seen shooting someone –presumably a police officer- although the violence itself has been pixelated. This is a rarity in that most of the videos released so far focus on the insurgents doing the shooting, rather than what they hit.
