(NSFW) Colorado Springs Tactical Enforcement Unit Shoots Armed Suspect

This compilation of bodycam and drone footage depicts the Colorado Springs Police Department attempting to interdict, and ultimately shooting, an armed, wanted suspect. This video is uncensored and shows the aftermath of several gunshots. Viewer Discretion is advised.

The bodycam footage begins with a member of Colorado Springs' Tactical Enforcement Unit (TEU) exiting from the rear passenger side of a police vehicle. As the suspect flees, another officer on the PA announces that he has a gun in-hand. At 0:12, the TEU officer orders him to stop and drop the weapon. While the bodycam does not show it, a K9 is released to attack the suspect. He still refuses to drop the weapon, and is shot several times at 0:15.

At 0:35, we transition to drone coverage of the incident. At 0:41, we see the K9 make contact with the suspect as the TEU officers close in. The suspect goes down at 0:45, and at 0:47, there is visual confirmation that the officer previously depicted was a shooter, along with the officer to the left. Thereby, it is inferred that the suspect took multiple handgun and rifle rounds. The suspect's weapon is visible on the ground by the officer to the left.

Next, we have the perspective of one of the backup officers as the team provides aid and restraint to the downed suspect. The officer, evidently a supervisor, provides TCCC direction to the team.
