The heroic last stand of a Ukrainian Soldier is recorded on FLIR near Zelenka, South of Izyum. The footage shows the single Soldier holding off a Squad of Russian Paratroopers from the VDV until a grenade kills him.
For the purpose of context, this footage shows a squad of elite Russian Paratroopers from the VDV advancing on a Ukrainian defensive position after what appears to be a preparatory bombardment of some kind. The footage itself was recorded in Zelenka just South of Izyum, and it shows a singular Ukrainian Soldier in his fighting position fighting against an entire squad of the paratroopers. He's able to force the VDV to go prone with his fire, and he maintains fire superiority until one of the VDV members lands a grenade right next to him.
