(NSFW) Russian Chooses Grenade Over Surrender

Drone footage of Ukrainian soldiers attempting to take a Russian prisoner. As two Ukrainian soldiers advance from the left, the Russian, who is laying prone on his belly, hides a grenade under his torso, presumably so that his would be captors are killed or wounded when they attempt to take him into custody. The Ukrainians sense mischief and back away, leaving the Russian in a quandary, unable to move without setting off the grenade. He suddenly rises to his knees and is riddled with rifle fire before falling on his back just as the grenade explodes. It is difficult to imagine that this outcome was preferable to captivity in Ukraine.
