(NSFW) Russian Mistakes Ukrainians as Friendly Forces

Violent GoPro footage released by members of the Third Assault Brigade captures the moment a Russian Soldier mistakenly runs directly into the guns of Ukrainian shooters. Incidents like this occur on the battlefield about as often as fratricide. In the fog of war, it's super easy to get turned around and lose track of both friendly and enemy forces. What you're seeing in this video is one of those incidents, and the fact that the Russian's idea of trying get near/far recognition is to just simply shout "friendly" is very telling. Professional units have rotating standard operating procedures like challenge and pass to prevent situations like this. It doesn't seem like the Russian was part of one of those units.
