(NSFW) Russian Soldier Films Buddy Getting Droned

This footage, taken by a Russian soldier on the ground, shows one of his friends being ostensibly killed by a Ukrainian drone. Viewer discretion is advised.

The location and date of this incident are unknown at this time. To the cameraman’s right, another soldier is shown, firing. It is unclear whether this is toward an enemy combatant or at the drone. However, at about 10 seconds in, the drone begins its plummet toward a Russian in the background. It kills him when it detonates on impact. Although the cameraman screams for his friend to “leave,” another Russian can be heard flatly commenting “blyat.” It would appear that for some, the war is a humming, droning horror in real-time, and for others, it’s just another Tuesday. Perhaps, as the war drags on, these two lines intersect.
