This footage, recorded by both an attacking FPV drone and an observer, shows a Ukrainian attack on a Russian troop carrier. Nine Russian soldiers are riding atop the vehicle, and are totally exposed when the FPV drone strikes. Viewer discretion is advised.
This footage was provided by the 3rd Assault Brigade, a frequent disseminator of both drone and helmet cam footage. Here, we see a vivid example of the inherent economy of drone attacks- a cheap, off-the-shelf drone is able to incapacitate nine soldiers. This is not the first time Russian soldiers have been killed in similar circumstances, which raises questions about why they would insist on riding atop the vehicle with no cover. The MT-LB they’re riding on has a capacity which includes 11 passengers along with the crew of two, but it is not known whether there are another 11 inside the vehicle.
