Palestinian Rams Car Into Police Checkpoint, Gets Shot Dead

A Palestinian man was shot dead after he intentionally rammed into a group of Israeli police manning a checkpoint in the vicinity of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood on May 16, 2021.
At least six police officers were injured. Various video angles show the group of police giving some sort of interview to a reporter as the deliberate attack occurred. The police shot and killed the driver.
A Hamas spokesperson called the attack a “heroic and daring operation.”
