Footage released by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement captures a group of PIJ fighters wearing civilian clothes utilizing a mortar system to attack IDF positions. It's clear from the footage that the fighters intend to drop their headbands as soon as the footage ends so that they can utilize the IDF rules of engagement to escape their firing position unmolested.
