Point Blank Assassination Attempt On Argentine Vice President

Witness video shows a failed assassination attempt on Argentina's Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner as the would-be hitman puts a pistol directly in her face and pulls the trigger. However, the weapon malfunctions and no shot was fired.
Police arrested a Brazilian national identified as Fernando Andre Sabag Montiel as the culprit. The pistol was a .380 semiautomatic and was reportedly loaded with five rounds.
Vice President Kirchner has recently been in the limelight with corruption charges.
