The Blue Ash Police Department (BAPD) released body worn camera footage from an incident that occurred on November 21st, 2021. BAPD officers were dispatched the Quality Inn, after receiving a 9-1-1 call regarding a rape, kidnapping, and sexual assault incident.
Official victim reports state, that a male subject, identified as Onjre George, entered a woman's hotel room and refused to leave. While in the room, George began physically assaulting the woman, leaving visible marks on her body. According to the official report, the victim additionally stated George sexually assaulted her. After the sexual assault, George reportedly tried committing suicide infront of the victim with an electrical cord but was unsuccessful.
Before the victim could call police, George reportedly stole the female victims cellphone and removed the hotel phone from her room. At some point, George and the female victim left the hotel room, however George maintained a close distance on the female. A hotel employee attempted to communicate with the victim, however she refused to talk, further drawing suspicion toward George.
Ultimately, a hotel employee contacted Blue Ash Police. Responding officers located George's room, where he was confronted regarding the alleged crimes. Unfortunately, the body worn camera footage audio was altered or corrupt, so the entire confrontation cannot be heard.
As indicated by the body camera footage, responding officers drew enough suspicion to place George under arrest. In a desperate attempt to avoid detainment, George is observed running full sprint at the window of his sixth-floor hotel room, slamming into it, and bouncing backward.
Officers were able to arrest George successfully. He is currently on a $205,000 bond.
