Footage coming out of Russia shows waning support for the war against Ukraine as thousands of citizens fill the streets in protest of Putin's conquest of aggression.
The above video is several cuts of Russian protestors taking to the streets in places like Moscow and Saint Petersburg. In both clips, civilians can be heard chanting "нет войне". When translated to English, the chant simply means "No to war." We also have unconfirmed reports of Russian citizens located in Tel Aviv at the Russian embassy burning their passports home in protest of Russian aggression against Ukraine.
Across all of the protests inside of Russia, police can be seen arresting protestors. The reason for the arrests are unknown as the individuals protesting seem peaceful. Likely, as the protests continue to grow in scale, the police response will also escalate as well. As of this writing, it is believed that 1,400 protestors have been arrested in 51 different cities in Russia.
