Russian Helo Crashes Before Takeoff

A Russian Mi-26 just runs into things on a tarmac in Yakutsk. Russian aviation’s track record has been marred by poor maintenance and operational mishaps, and this seems to continue in that trend. I like how the ground crew just stands there as the helo comes apart, and the announcer sounds bored – perhaps he is desensitized to foolishness. This video a good reminder to not do silly things in helicopter, and also not to choose Yakutsk as a starting point when playing Risk.
