A montage of Russian Ka-52 attacks from the Luhansk region shows several Ukrainian armored vehicles being destroyed with Vikhr anti-tank guided missiles.
The video above was allegedly filmed near Svatovsky in the Luhansk region of Ukraine. It was taken from the perspective of a Ka-52 attack helicopter's gun camera. The gun tape appears to show several Ukrainian armored vehicles being destroyed by Vikhr anti-tank guided missiles fired from the Ka-52, which is capable of carrying up to a dozen of the laser-guided missiles.
It's unclear if the vehicles were occupied at the time of their destruction, or if they had been previously disabled by Russian ground forces. Generally speaking, the Ka-52 and other rotary wing assets from both sides of the conflict have had to stay pretty far behind the front-lines to conduct their attacks due to the massive risk of MANPAD systems from the ground.
