Footage released by the Russian Ministry of Defense shows a KA-52 Attack Helicopter engaging with and allegedly destroying a Ukrainian Buk air defense system.
As usual, the Russian have added on about a minute of fluff to this video. We don't remove the fluff and bring you just the combat footage because we want to ensure that the Russian's content has a permanent place that it will live in the event the Russian military decides they want to edit this content at a future date. They cannot edit the content that is stored on our video servers for the whole public to see. We also do this due to the amount of people we get calling us Ukrainian propagandists. We want to show them that we are posting the Russian side of the conflict, or at least as much of their side of the conflict as they wish to show the outside world.
This video, which was recorded at an unknown date and time in an unknown location, shows a Russian KA-52 attack helicopter allegedly engaging with and destroying a Ukrainian BUK air defense system. From the video, it appears as if the KA-52 was able to out maneuver the SAM attack, and then circle around while another KA-52 engaged it. That said however, we can't be entirely sure that's the truth due to the editing found inside of the video.
I'll take my Russian troll hate mail in 10s and 20s, but we don't accept the Ruble.
