Russian Missile Shot Down With MANPADS

Footage shows Ukrainian troops successfully shooting down a Russian cruise missile with shoulder-fired Igla surface-to-air missiles. The incident reportedly occurred on Dec. 29, 2022 during a massive Russian missile barrage. Ukraine claimed to shoot down 54 of a reported 69 missiles, but parts of Lviv and Kyiv were left without power after the missiles struck crucial infrastructure. Ukrainian officials described the Russian attack as "senseless barbarism."
