A Russian oil and gas refinery in the Irkutsk region of Siberia scorched a 1,000 square meter area following a reported "powerful blast" on Dec. 18, 2022.
The refinery is owned by the Irkutsk Oil Company (INK), one of Russia's largest private oil producers. Five people were reportedly injured in the incident. Russian officials said the fire was mostly contained aside from some outbreaks.
