Russian troops in an unarmored logistics vehicle make the decision to risk driving through a minefield. Seconds later the logistics vehicle hits a landmine and explodes. It's unlikely that the driver survived.
I am at a loss for words on this one. The guys knew they were about to drive into a minefield, but somehow convinced themselves that it would be fine. In Afghanistan, when I knew we were in an area with a lot of IEDs, I would get out of my truck with tourniquets already up high on my thighs so that I could tighten them in the event that I stepped on an IED. We also rolled around in heavily up-armored mine resistant ambush protectant vehicles designed specifically to hit improvised explosive devices.
These guys? They film a short TikTok video and just send it, which ultimately results in one of them dying. Sometimes, it doesn't pay to be crazy Ivan.
