On July 8, 2022, two men and a pregnant woman in a pickup truck lead Arkansas State Police on a high speed pursuit in speeds of up to 130mph. It took two pit maneuvers to end the police chase, and the State Police sounded like they were ordering coffee for the duration of the chase.
I don't know what Arkansas feeds their State Police, but whatever it is it makes them cool as a cucumber regardless of how fast they're driving or who they're chasing. It's worth noting that this police chase spanned over multiple state lines, starting in Texas and ending after an Arkansas State Police officer conducted a PIT maneuver causing the truck to spin out.
The two men arrested have been identified as Larreal Pope and Kendrick Bailey, both from Jonesboro, Ark. They are being held at the Hempstead County Jail on Arkansas charges of felony fleeing, aggravated assault, and possession of illegal drugs. Charges in Texas are pending.
