This footage, provided by the Ukrainian 148th Artillery Brigade, shows a bit of their morning routine. Wake up, make the coffee, throw ordinance downrange.
While this video has limited value insofar as combat footage, it seemed worthwhile to share this with you. Inundated with drone video of people getting killed at a distance, we tend to become desensitized to the humanity of warfare. War is made up of regular people. These Ukrainian soldiers are fighting for their homeland and very existence as a country, but it starts with making the coffee- just like your 9 to 5. Admittedly, there's probably a little more motivation to load and fire a cannon than there is to face the Thursday morning commute.
