UA Drones Wreck RU Frankentanks, Prisoners Taken

Another Russian assault is smacked aside by drone operators of Ukraine’s 46th Airmobile Brigade as FPV drones hammer an off collection of heavily modified armored vehicles. Some of these vehicles are so encumbered with cope cages and mine rollers that their original identity is difficult to determine. One tank, which looks like it belongs on Fury Road rather than on a battlefield, is pummeled into submission and bursts into flames in the manner popular with Russian tanks. Though my armor identification skills are a few decades out of date, the position of the bore evacuator had me wondering if it was a modernized T-62, a nearly sixty-year-old Cold War relic, but I think it might be a T-72 variant, a slightly les ancient Cold War relic. Crewmen and infantry dismounts retreat into the brush with drones in pursuit, and a few Russian soldiers conclude that captivity is preferable to being blasted to pieces and surrender. Despite the brutal nature of the conflict, Ukrainian troops attempt to take prisoners when possible as it replenishes their prisoner exchange fund and provides an incentive to Russian troops to surrender.
