Pro Russian Telegram channels are circulating a recent video reportedly showing the last few city blocks of Bakhmut still under Ukrainian control being ravaged by what appears to be rocket artillery fired in support of Russian Wagner mercenaries.
The first and second clip are the same barrage filmed from different drones. The dubbed audio is likely a song by the the composer Wagner, and there is also a sound byte of Wagner mercenary army leader Yevgeny Prigozhin, from his recent tirade in which he roasted the Russian defense minister for not supplying his forces with sufficient ammunition.
It looks as if Wagner has been resupplied and is on the cusp of taking the city in its entirety, although Ukrainian counter attacks on the flanks have pushed the Russian line back in those areas. Russia appears to be committed to taking Bakhmut, while the much-hyped Ukrainian counteroffensive will seemingly not take place at Bakhmut.
