This footage, provided by the Ukrainian 117th Mechanized Brigade, shows a pair of drones used to prosecute Russian targets, including a self-propelled howitzer and an IFV.
Whereas most drone footage shows the impact- and this one certainly does, complete with turret tossed into the air- this video shows some of the prep work and takeoff procedure not normally shown. This is the behind-the-scenes work of a drone operator. The two operators are seen assembling the drones and attaching what is presumably the explosive. The drones take off from two boards over a shallow hole, into which a cord or cable falls as the drone leaves. This could be a means to arm the explosives or a charger for the onboard batteries.
In whatever case, the drones are used to impressive effect, destroying a Russian BMD-4 APC and a 2S1 Gvozdika howitzer.
